CHICAGO(AP) — Zach LaVine, the star of the Chicago Bulls, was forced to miss Friday’s blowout loss against the Golden State Warriors because of a left-leg injury.
The All-Star and Olympic gold medal winner was scheduled to have an MRI on Saturday after he exited in the opening minutes of a 138-96 rout. Coach Billy Donovan stated that LaVine wasn’t traveling with the Bulls from Memphis to Boston for Saturday’s game. They will visit Memphis on Monday, before visiting Cleveland two days later.
” “I don’t know how serious it is or not,” he stated. “I believe the MRI will reveal a lot. Tomorrow, we’ll have more detail there.”
Donovan said he thinks LaVine felt some discomfort going for an offensive rebound and tried to play through it. LaVine walked gingerly toward the locker
